The Hospitality Program offers both Event Management and Hotel Management as disciplines.

Event Management
Students gain solid business knowledge and comprehensive skills to succeed in a career in the destination, event and meeting industries in any of the corporate, leisure, or hospitality and tourism arenas. The curriculum prepares students to develop sales techniques, research locations and activities, and practice the business skills necessary for success in providing the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. Emphasis is placed on organizational skills and the attention to detail necessary to carry out events of all sizes. Coursework is supplemented by field excursions and networking opportunities in San Diego County, one of the premier destination locations in the United States.
Successful completion of the program will result in a Certification of Achievement and/or Associate of Science degree in Destination and Event Management.
Hotel Management
The Hotel Management program emphasizes leadership and management unique to the industry, business communications, legal and legislative requirements for lodging operators, and sales and marketing related to guest accommodation. The curriculum teaches profitability and productivity measures, operational effectiveness, and how to achieve success in the service component demanded in world-class hotel facilities. Coursework is supplemented with participation in field excursions and opportunities to learn from and interact with industry professionals and experts. Courses prepare students for entry-level supervision and oversight in any of the lodging segments.
Successful completion of the program will result in a Certification of Achievement and/or Associate of Science degree in Hotel Management.
