LGBTQ+ RESOURCES AT MESA
MESA LGBTQ+ SAFE ZONE TASK FORCE
The Safe Zone Task Force is a collaboration among Mesa faculty, staff, and administrators dedicated to educating the greater campus community on ways to ensure a safe, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals. As the "Leading College of Equity and Excellence", we know that the best learning environments are ones that promote acceptance and respect. Please feel free to contact any of our members if you have questions or would like to become involved.
Gay-Straight ALLIANCE (GSA)
The purpose of Mesa Gay-Straight Alliance is to exist as a campus club where students
who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Questioning are able to network,
plan activities, establish positive and supportive student relationships with other
students who identify as a member of the LGBTQ Community or as a Straight Ally.
Please contact our advisor with any questions and feel free to come visit during one of our meetings. Our door is always open! Also, check out our Mesa GSA Facebook page.

Mesa LGBTQ+ Ally/out List
The Mesa LGBTQ+ Ally/Out List is a directory of faculty, staff, and administrators
on our campus who proudly serve as advocates for our LGBTQ+ community. The directory
includes both self-identified "out" LGBTQ+ individuals and LGBTQ+ allies. Click here to see our ever-growing network of supporters.
Mental health services
We know that the LGBTQ+ community often experiences unique obstacles that make it
difficult to deal with everyday life. At Mesa, there is always someone here for you.
Please drop by Student Health Services in I4-209 in the Student Services Building or contact our designated on-campus LGBTQ+ health counselor.
