San Diego Mesa College Student, Wesley Renda, has found a way to change the drinking game forever. He invented a cup called, “WesCup”, that is able to hold three drinks in one cup. The drinking cup allows consumers to enjoy three flavors of their favorite drink at one time. These cups are being sold at 30 stores in San Diego and is going into 7/11 this month.

San Diego psychology professor Dr. Inna Kanevsky gained TikTok fame by debunking mental health misinformation on the popular social media platform. She now has more than a million followers as she fights to make content creators stick to scientific facts.

San Diego, CA ---- During the month of March, San Diego Mesa College proudly celebrates Women’s History Month, with a complete schedule of events, starting with “Careering While Asian II: Women’s History Month Edition”, a panel event will incorporate womxn-asian and womxn-pacific islander identifying persons from Mesa College, alongside professionals from other industries in San Diego, to bring their lived experiences as Asian and Pacific Islander womxn onto campus. They will share their lived experiences and strategies for how they have thrived in predominantly white industries. The panel will be on Monday, March 6, from 11:10am – 12:35pm in Mesa Commons room 211.

San Diego, CA - Today, February 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Apolliad Theatre, San Diego Mesa College will celebrate the Grand Opening of the Mesa College Pride Center. Local elected officials and the San Diego Community College District will join Mesa College administrators, faculty, staff and students, and LGBTQ+ community members to celebrate the historic Grand Opening.

Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Every year, the San Diego Mesa College Library joins in the celebration by creating and curating a Black History Month Library Guide – filled with resources of what is available not only at the San Diego Mesa College library, but through other community resources as well.

The Houston Texans continue to pick from the San Francisco 49ers’ coaching staff as DeMeco Ryans forms his new crew with the AFC South. According to Aaron Wilson from KPRC-TV, the Texans are hiring 49ers defensive quality control coach Stephen Adegoke as their new safeties coach.
