Roadmap 2 is San Diego Mesa College’s five-year strategic plan for 2026–2030 and represents
the second half of the Mesa2030 Comprehensive Master Plan. Building on the lessons
and progress of Roadmap 1, Roadmap 2 provides greater focus and clarity by establishing
defined outcomes and measures aligned with Mesa2030’s five long-term goals: Completion,
Community, Pathways & Partnerships, Stewardship, and Scholarship. Roadmap 2 connects
these collegewide priorities to divisional and departmental planning, annual assessment,
and resource allocation to support coordinated action and continuous improvement across
the College.
Assessment of Progress
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness will maintain dashboards, updated annually,
using the outcomes and measures identified in Roadmap 2. Data will be disaggregated,
where available, across race/ethnicity, gender, CCPG/Pell Status, AB540 Status, LGBTQ+
identity, DSPS Status, and other characteristics identified through the College’s
equity planning processes. The Planning and Institutional Effectiveness Committee
will use the dashboards to assess the College’s progress toward achieving the Mesa2030
goals, identify areas for continuous improvement, and inform annual planning and adjustment.
Progress will be shared with the campus each year.
